George V five cent cufflinks
Pair of vintage silver five cent coin cufflinks shows the effigy of George V on the front and the year of minting on the back. It is the rarest five cent coin as it was only minted in small quantities in 1932 and 1933. The coin is 80% silver with a diameter of 15mm. The button and chain backing is made of sterling silver and the entire cufflink is rhodium plated to match the colour of a newly minted coin.
One of the oldest schools in Hong Kong, the King George V School was named after the monarch. There are also two King George V Memorial Parks in Hong Kong, one on Hong Kong Island, the other in Jordon, Kowloon.
